Though Karen has over 10 years experience in graphic design, this part of the portfolio covers projects done in the past few years, both client work and projects completed for courses given by the California Institute of the Arts and Sessions College for Professional Design. Karen is always looking to improve her work and expand her horizons, which is why there are samples of work she has done while taking classes alongside her client work.
You will find examples of social media video ads, flyers, brochures, logo design, rebranding, editorial layout, and packaging design. Karen’s work uses both her own digital artwork and photography as well as stock images. She is a fan of photo manipulation and oftentimes will find creative ways to combine her work with stock, ensuring unique end results for each project. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, and InDesign are used for her creations.
